SUMMARY
Positive Discipline in the Classroom (based on the work of Alfred Adler and Rudolf Dreikurs) could be called an “encouragement model” for classroom management. It is a program designed to teach young people to become responsible, respectful and resourceful members of their communities. Nelsen and Lott have been teaching and expanding on Positive Discipline since the early 70’s. Positive Discipline parent education classes are taught around the world, and Positive Discipline is successfully used as a classroom management model in private, religious, and public early childhood programs, elementary schools and middle and high schools.

Certification
This package includes one certification. If you would like to get a certificate for Positive Discipline in the Classroom, you will need to complete a 40 Question Quiz and email an activity answer sheet after completing the training. (All certificates are emailed in pdf format, electronically signed by Jane and Lynn, with a nice border suitable for framing.) Group discounts are available if you would like to purchase training for multiple participants.
CE Credit Information
Positive Discipline has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider. ACEP No. 6723. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Positive Discipline is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
