Parenting Class Description: Tired of power struggles, raging tempers, household chaos? Research describes the importance of social and emotional learning, at home and at school. Empowering families, using Parenting the Positive Discipline Way material, allows parents to strengthen their families without punishment, rewards, praise, and permissiveness.
This six-session class provides an in-depth look at solutions, tailored to specifically meet your family's needs. The structure of the class allows for each member to go through the material independently, interact with others on each topic, practice material as it is presented, and grow.
What you will gain:
- Safe learning environment with a small group of parents
- Effective tools that are kind and firm, enhance connectedness, encourage children's belief in their abilities, and keep the joy in parenting.
- A view into your child's world through experiential activities, used to better understand the "belief behind the behavior."
