Marocaine de nationalité et Belge d'éducation, Assia est né au coeur de l'Europe, Bruxelles. Elle a baigné dans un environnement à la fois de principe et d'ouverture respectant la différence. Cette richesse culturelle lui a permis d'élargir son prisme visuel et d'apporter un concept éducationnel plus adapté au temps moderne. Ingénieur de formation, elle gère son entreprise pendant plusieurs années à Casablanca. Après réflexion, elle fait un choix de prioriser l'éducation
de ses 5 enfants et rejoint ainsi le monde de l'enseignement. Sa formation de Coach en développement personnel (EHTP) lui apporte une nouvelle force dans la relation à soi et à l'autre. Sa rencontre avec la Discipline Positive a bouleversé sa vision de l'éducation et décide de se spécialiser dans ce domaine afin d'en partager les fruits avec le corps enseignants, avec les élèves et surtout avec les parents à travers des ateliers, des conférences ou des séances individuelles. Workshop Description: This two-day interactive workshop is designed for teachers, counselors, school staff and administrators who want an effective discipline approach that integrates social and emotional learning while reducing challenging student behaviors. Attendees will earn recognition as a Certified Positive Discipline Classroom Educator and will learn to:
- Develop a large teaching toolbox of kind and firm discipline approaches.
- Establish explicit classroom structures and procedures.
- Create an equitable classroom community based on mutual respect.
- Understand the motivation behind students' misbehavior and how to encourage positive change.
- Facilitate effective class meetings teaching social skills and problem-solving.
- Learn Positive Discipline/Adlerian Psychology for use in the classroom and school community.

The Positive Discipline Association is pleased to provide the opportunity for educators to earn graduate-level university credit. Whether you attend one of our live workshops or participate in an online workshop, you may choose to earn 1 to 4 non-degree credits. Positive Discipline Association courses approved for Graduate-Level Semester Credits through University of the Pacific will appear on an Official Transcript with a letter grade.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: Workshop Registrations: A full refund (minus a $35 processing fee) will be given when the request for a refund is made up to 30 days prior to the first day of a workshop. Refunds are not available for cancellations less than 30 days before a workshop. However, paid registrants can transfer to another workshop within one year at no additional cost. Refunds are not available after a transfer is made or if you do not provide advanced notice that you will not be attending the workshop.
In the event of cancellation, participants will be notified by email.
