Joy Marchese is an educator, author, keynote speaker, and wellbeing advocate. For 25 years Joy has worked with thousands of children, parents, teachers, and professionals to help foster a happy and flourishing environment in the home, in schools, and in the workplace.
Joy is the Founder of Positive Discipline UK and co-author of Positive Discipline for Today's Busy (& Overwhelmed) Parent. She runs a successful educational consultancy and coaching practice, and offers seminars and workshops to various schools and organisations globally.
Joy sees herself as an agent of change. With her combined passion and experience in education, parenting, professional development, and wellness she is able to give you a comprehensive look in to the modern world of parenting, relationships, and personal and professional development.
Mónica is an Early Years Educator and Teacher of English as a Second Language, with a Master of Arts in Education. She has over 15 years of experience as a teacher, working with children of all ages in different settings.
Mónica is the founder and owner of PaBoo! By Mónica, a company that provides Positive Discipline training opportunities for families and teachers around the world.
Mónica is married and has two children. Originally from Chile, she is currently living in Doha, Qatar.
This is an online interactive and streamed video workshop designed for teachers, counselors, school staff and administrators who want an effective discipline approach that integrates social and emotional learning while reducing challenging student behaviors. Attendees will earn recognition as a Certified Positive Discipline Classroom Educator and will learn to:
- Develop a large teaching toolbox of kind and firm discipline approaches.
- Establish explicit classroom structures and procedures.
- Create an equitable classroom community based on mutual respect.
- Understand the motivation behind students' misbehavior and how to encourage positive change.
- Facilitate effective class meetings teaching social skills and problem-solving.
- Learn Positive Discipline/Adlerian Psychology for use in the classroom and school community.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: Workshop Registrations: A full refund (minus a $35 processing fee) will be given when the request for a refund is made up to 30 days prior to the first day of a workshop. Refunds are not available for cancellations less than 30 days before a workshop. However, paid registrants can transfer to another workshop within one year at no additional cost. Refunds are not available after a transfer is made or if you do not provide advanced notice that you will not be attending the workshop.
