Facilitator Information: Marwa Reda is a mom of two Teens. She has a Bachelor Degree of Arts, English Literature. She has been working as a teacher for Middle & High School for 12 years. She is a Positive Discipline Trainer in Parenting. She is a Certified Positive Discipline Educator in Classroom & a Positive Discipline Facilitator in both Empowering The People in The Workplace & Joy In Relationships. She is a Certified Encouragement Consultant and on her Certification of being ADHD Family Coach. Marwa is passionate about providing guidance, support, and effective strategies to help People build stronger relationships with their family members & all other relations in their life.
Dina Emser is a Certified Positive Discipline Lead Trainer and Professional Certified Coach with over 30 years of experience in education. She has taught every grade level, kindergarten through eighth grade, as well as college level students, teachers and parents. For ten years she served as the principal of an
elementary/middle school whose staff incorporated Positive Discipline principles including classroom meetings. Dina works as a Professional Certified Coach and Educational Consultant with schools, businesses and individuals. Dina has presented at educational conferences in the U.S. and Canada for the North American Society of Adlerian Psychology and the National Association of Educators of Young Children. She has trained teachers and parents in Positive Discipline in 11 states and 10 counties on 4 continents. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Positive Discipline Association and is a Lead Trainer and member of their National and International Speakers Bureau.
Cost: $399 Early Registration available until 10/28/2023. $450 Regular Registration. Groups of three (3) take $40 off each registration.
Workshop Description:
This is an online interactive and streamed video workshop designed for parent educators, teachers, therapists, childcare professionals and others who want an effective discipline approach. This method is based on Adlerian Psychology and integrates social and emotional learning while reducing challenging behaviors. Successful participants will earn recognition as a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator and will:
- Learn research based and effective tools and techniques for teaching parents how to use discipline that is kind and firm at the same time (non-punitive, non-permissive)
- Learn how to facilitate a parent class from the position of a non-expert.
- Gain practice with experiential exercises that help parents go beyond intellectual understanding to be able to respond in empowering ways that teach children.
- Learn how to use materials and activities in group settings, parenting classes, and individual work with families.

Whether you attend one of our live workshops or participate in an online workshop, you may choose to earn 1 to 4 non-degree credits. Cancellation/Refund Policy: Workshop Registrations: A full refund (minus a $35 processing fee) will be given when the request for a refund is made up to 30 days prior to the first day of a workshop. Refunds are not available for cancellations less than 30 days before a workshop. However, paid registrants can transfer to another workshop within one year at no additional cost. Refunds are not available after a transfer is made or if you do not provide advanced notice that you will not be attending the workshop.
In the event of cancellation, participants will be notified by email.
