Questions on Discipline
- Discipline for Children of
Different Ethnic Groups

Without
Yelling or Hitting
- I question the lack of
negative consequences because, let's
face it, they abound in the world.
- With only 2 1/2 months of
school left in this school year the teacher began a
reward
system that
she said would help to get the children to better use
their "good listening" skills.
- Our two younger children laugh when we try to discipline
them.
- Instead of trying to figure out
a child's behavior and what causes it or where it
comes from, why not see what God's word says about raising
children??
- My husband, even after reading about the PD
approach, still chooses to
"do" for our only child, a 7 year-old son. This
includes dressing him, waiting on him, cleaning up
after him, etc.
- Constructive Criticism of
Discouragement?
- I have tried very
hard to raise with
firm kindness as you suggest. So far it is going
pretty well.
- My husband believes
that I should be the one to dole out the discipline to
our daughter because
I am a woman.

condones everything positive discipline is against.

don't work.
